I basically, if you don't watch my YouTube channel 'Hatster', that you won't know that I recently got a new job and with the job the way that it is, I will have a lot more funds and time to be able to dedicate myself to fashion blogging a little better and also focus on some beauty elements too. If you also weren't aware, I'm also heavily into Louis Vuitton at the moment so I'm currently gearing myself up to make my first purchase! SO a lot happening!
Let's get down to it then shall we?
Arrow BOOST Colour Enhancing LIp Balm is an interesting product and also a Birchbox exclusive brand. It's paraben-free, cruelty-free and also vegan so ticks all the boxes! It says here in my Birchbox guide, that it adjusts to you pH balance so changes colour to be a unique colour for you.
Now it turns a light pink colour for me and I do like it and it moisturises my lips well, but you know me; I'm a creature of habit. I am still in love with my Apple Cinnamon from Crazy Rumours.
This next product is my absolute favourite!! I'm always interested in better brows and the ModelCo More Brows quick dry brow cream is gorgeous and is the perfect colour for me! It's quick to use and its tiny packaging so it fits well in my handbag for a top up (not that I need it cause it lasts so long). It also has little hair like particles which make my gappier bits look more filled in. 200% recommend this to anyone who needs a well priced brow fix!
Okay so this next one wasn't a big one in my books and thats only because I am SUPER picky with my hair care and product because my hair never plays ball. Philip B Drop Dead Straightening Baume is a product which I'm sure works for some people but it just seemed to sit on my hair and didn't help to straighten it at all. Needless to say I won't be adding this to my regime anytime soon.
Luckily the straightening baume was the only product I didn't like in this passed months box, because I was also fortunate to receive a tester of Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream and I actually kinda loved it! It's smells like gorgeous creaming coconut and my legs (for once) weren't red from the shave! As much as it's a little pricey, I am totally up for adding this to my Birchbox basket on my next visit.
I was a little disappointed by the Indeed Labs Hydraluron moisture boosting mask as there was only one in the packet when it said there were 4 and also that it didn't really do anything from one use. In fairness to the product, I'm sure it's not supposed to do ought in just one application but this just wasn't for me. I don't suffer with dry skin; I have more oily skin than anything, so this wasn't really suited to my skintype but give it a go if you're looking for options. Personally I would recommend any of the SOY or Grape products from ALDI because I have found the best result where moisture is concerned with these products.
AND FINALLY! The last product is something which I conveniently was looking to purchase and so I lucked out with this tester. This Works pillow spray in Deep Sleep was like a gift from God and I am so pleased I received this! You just spray it on your pillow and duvet at night and it soothes you to sleep. I also listen to ASMR when I sleep too so this combination is a must if you're look for that REM sleep! Also, try Tiger Good Night Tea which knocks me out too; it's delicious!
Thats all for March's Birchbox, and I hope you won't get too bored of me doing this every month! I will try to include some interesting and different content for you next time!
