Two posts in one day?... *gasp*
Okay, so the pictures aren't great as my camera is broken and my partner isn't so au fait with iPhones or indeed cameras but I'm not going to be precious about the quality. What I wanted, escentially, was to capture what I have bought and styled from Warehouse this week.
The joggers are of a similar, silky and crepe material, with tapered, turn-up ankles and a drawstring waistband. I wear them a fraction above my hips but they would look good worn at the waist as well if you were so inclined. Again, they have a slight lustre to them and I'm in love with how they feel around my legs. They are super comfortable but also look professional and chic in the workplace and could be dressed up even more with a metallic top for a night out or even a dinner party.
I paired this outfit with my favourite thick strapped, treaded, chunky sandal heels and shocks for the colder weather. One of my co-workers asked why the socks and as ever I replied, "because it's super chic". Chic being a word I use at least, 100 times a day.
The jumper itself is a very fine knit which is perfect on it's own of worn with a thin layer underneath in the colder months. It's high neck is also ribbed like the sleeves and is a very flattering length. As a relatively tall girl, I always appreciate when the sleeves reach my wrists and have occasion in this season, to pull them over my hands when it gets a little nippy. The colour (khaki/ olive) is a key trend this season as well which is a plus as I love it and it suits me well, being that I mostly wear black or grey.
The jeans are a perfect fit and true to size and the regular length is great for those of us with longer legs. The material is soft and comfortable and much closer to a jegging than a jean, which is, for me, a lot better when you're on the go 39 hours a week.
I think a V-neck is such a flattering neckline on me so this V-Neck Drop Sleeve Top (RRP £18) was a must have to pair with this Faux Leather Pencil Skirt (RRP £42). The skirt is back on trend and has a luxurious seude styled backing which is perfect with bare legs as it prevents it from sticking to your skin in the hotter months. It's a deep blue/ purple colour which is perfect to compliment this light grey top but also the olive colours in this season.
So those were my outfits and I'm satisfied in saying that these will last me the next two months until I have to get new styles for my wardrobe. I think all of the garments you've seen here can be interchanged to create new pairings which is great if you're easily bored by an outfit like myself.
I have to give Warehouse a 10/10 on their choice of colours, cuts and materials and I am really looking forward to the next collection of goodies that they have in store for us.
